Game of the Week: El Nacional 2 – Liga de Quito 3

Miller Bolaños Ruins Roit Against “Los Puros Criollos”
This is a new segment in which I share with you the most exciting game of the Campeonato Ecuatoriano 2010. To start us off, here is a game with many goals held in the Atahualpa. El Nacional played against Liga De Quito. At the 17′ minute Liga goalkeeper Alexander Dominguez brought down Cristian Suárez inside the box and a penalty was called. After slipping from his first attempt, he scored from the 12 yards. Miller Bolaños scored a cracker of a goal at the 29′ minute to tie up the game. During the World Cup NASA believed that “the effects of altitude could have increased the unpredictability of the ball” and that can be shown in Michael Quiñónez’s impressive long range free kick goal at the 33′ minute. Miller Bolaños scored from just outside the box at the 51′ minute to tie up the game once more. At the 64′ minute the once goalkeeper of Standard Liège, Rorys Aragón tried to pass the ball to a defender and a inspired Miller Bolaños quickly cut out the pass and scored his hat-trick.

The Munich Philharmonic's Ode To Bayern
The Munich Philharmonic penned this little aria for their boys heading to England for the grandest match of the year on Saturday. Bounding around Google has surfaced nothing in the way of an English translation for the lyrics, but it's worth it simply to watch someone work 'Heynckes' into a ...
Jose Mourinho Does "Who? Me?" Better Than Anyone
During this evening's Copa del Rey final, won by Atletico Madrid in extra time at the Bernabeu (big win, that one), Jose Mourinho and Cristiano Ronaldo were both sent off.
