Ecuadorians Abroad: Week 4
Segundo Castillo & Felipe Caicedo
A Ecuadorian duel took part when Manchester City visited Everton. The visiting side won 2-1. Both Castillo & Felipe were in the starting eleven however Castillo was substituted at the 60th minute for Dan Gosling who later on scored a late goal. Caicedo was also subbed at the 86th minute to waste some time.
Antonio Valencia
Antonio’s team Wigan lost away against Blackburn Rovers 2-0. Valencia looked very sharp the whole 90 minutes but couldn’t do anything to bring his team back.
Edison Mendez
PSV beat Heracles 0-2 on the road. Edison played the whole game. PSV are well on their way to next years Europa Cup.
Cristian Benitez & Pedro Quiñónez
Santos tied against Tigres 1-1. As usual Benitez played the whole 90 minutes but unfortunately couldn’t continue his scoring streak. Pedro came in at the second half as a sub.
Walter Ayovi
Monterry got a important victory at home against Atlante that ended 1-0. Walter played the whole game. Ayovi played as a left back this game and not his usual left midfielder position.
Aragon Espinoza
Standard of Belgium is still winning by large differences but Aragon is still ridies the bench for his comments about the possible transfer to Benfica in the summer.
Joffre Guerron
Getafe lost again against Villareal 2-1. As usual Guerron wasn’t even on the bench. Getafe is getting ever so closer to get relegated.
Cristian Noboa
Rubin Kazan lost for the first time this season, against Spartak of Moscow 2-0. Noboa played left bench this game.
Luis Bolanos
Santos FC lost the first leg at home in the Torneo Paulista 1-3 to Corinthians. Living legend Ronaldo Lima was the man of the match. Bolanos played no part in this game.
Cristian Lara
Deportivo Pereira suffered their 3rd consecutive loss home against Júnior de Barranquilla 1-3. Lara played the whole game.
Ivan Hurtado
Millos held Santa Fe at home 1-1 in the Colombian Derby. Hurtado scored a penalty kick to make the game level.
