Deportivo Cuenca received Caracas at home and were playing in a pitch full of puddles, when I was looking at the game I was surprised that the ref didn’t stop the game. Both teams couldn’t even pass the ball on the ground because it slowed down because of the puddles so everybody was doing [...]

Deportivo Cuenca tied against Guarani away 1-1 and assured their place in the next round of the Copa Libertadores. They are the only Ecuadorian team left in the tournament. Hopefully this year the trophy stays in Ecuador.

LDU suffered a loss at home against Sport Recife 2-3. They left the tournament which they won last year as last in the group. Hopefully Deportivo Cuenca will do better.
