I like Marathon. I think that during the World Cup they had one of the top 5 cool looking jersey’s! And Valencia is doing well on Wigan!

I agree we need to ditch marathon for another company. I found out that Adidas recently made an Ecuador soccer shirt. It’s cool but needs a little work but it’s in the right direction. I hope Ecuador goes with Adidas. Check out the link

lol i love the third goal from felix borja… a lot of teenagers do that celebration in guayaquil..

Pablo and Hank the marathon jersey isn’t bad at all. I feel since we are one of the best teams in south america and perhaps in the world we should go with another brand like … nike, puma, umbro,lotto.. the ones that the best teams have. but come on man that addidads shirt is horrible. I say we go with nike or umbro. Or if we stay with marathon then let it be.. it isn’t bad at all

I cant believe the people that want to change from the Marathon jerseys. I actually own 2 and I can say they are pretty sweet.
Why do need Adidas, Puma, etc.. to produce our jersey!? I think its a sense of pride that we DON’T use those vendors.

I hope more countries start using Marathon since our jersey was definitley “top 5″ in the WC. Of course, that is in my humble opinion.

Why change it though??? You just want a label!!! Be proud of our product!! Me and my kids have about 8 ecuador shirts (that is including the old ones from 1994 world cup). Ok, the ‘94 ones were a bit plain and nothing much going for them, but the new one looks good. I want the blue one (Away shirt)to complete my collection. I agree with ecuador4life!!!

I am a sri lankan and whenever i have been to ecuador i noticed how many fake products are sold in every corner, yet whenever I saw someone wearing an ecuador team shirt it was always a proper Marathon. Seriously, i struggled to spot anyone wearing a fake ecuador shirt – i think ecudorians should be proud to have their own brand on display. Foreigners do notice and appreciate that

Manu I said it was in the right direction not that it was perfect, Any thing to get away from the those ugly jerseys, Marathon blows! The current Ecuador jersey from mararhon looks like a bad shirt from the 80’s with curved stripes on the side and those dots OMG please! “low quality” kit

Also and the notion that you can’t wear a Jersey that was made some where else is really upsurd. If that was the case you shouldn’t support some of the Ecuadoriano Futbol teams, right? they are made from other companies around the world, LOTTO, DIADORA, WILSON, UMBRO, PUMA, etc….
