World Cup Odds

Taking a cue from the Netherlands blog, a look at the current World Cup betting odds. Ecuador are a whopping 251 to 1 win the whole thing. Only eight teams are getting higher odds than La Tri. Further, Ecuador are 9 to 1 to win Group A, giving them only the third-best odds of winning the group. No Ecuador player is even listed on the top-goalscorer betting list. Can’t say these odds are unsurprising or unfair, but there they are if you’re a betting man. Or woman.
