Why Ecuador Won’t See Kromkamp Tomorrow
February 28th, 2006 | By: Trent | No Comments »
Dutch coach Marco van Basten has left Jan Kromkamp out of the Orange side for the firendly with Ecuador and is none too pleased with his career moves to date. Kromkamp left Villareal in January for Liverpool, but has made only one start since his transfer.
Said van Basten: “It is annoying that Kromkamp, who is a good player, made the wrong choices for his career. It is sad when someone throws away his own chances and also doesn’t help us.” Van Basten is reportedly mad at Kromkamp for leaving AZ Alkmaar for Villareal in the first place. Either way, it sounds like the Ecuador match is not the only one Kromkamp will be missing.
