What Does Carlos Tenorio Have to Do With the War in Lebanon?
August 9th, 2006 | By: Trent | No Comments »
Answer: indirectly at least, Super Teno will help raise relief funds for Lebanese war victims. The Ecuador striker, who plays for Al-Sadd in the money-coming-out-of-our-ears Qatari league, will be in Malaysia as his club participate in a friendly match aimed at supporting Lebanese caught i nthe Israel-Hizbollah crossfire.
I post this not for political reasons; just thought it interesting. I was sorta hoping that Teno would be shipped to Europe, but frankly, Al-Sadd doesn’t need the money that was (only tentatively) offered.
