Valencia Starting Against Newcastle.

Ecuador midfielder Luis Valencia is starting today for Wigan against Newcastle. Cool.

Update: Halftime: Newcastle 1-0 Wigan. Val is playing pretty well so far in his debut, although the pitch conditions–standing water in fact–have made this a sloppy match.

Update: Newcastle 2-1 Wigan, full time.
