Ulises: Verily, We Have Confidence
May 30th, 2006 | By: Trent | No Comments »
Ecuador defender Ulises de la Cruz says La Tri have a little more confidence this time around. The maybe-maybe-not Aston Villa man notes:
In Ecuador the expectation is not too big. Every player plays in Ecuador so the motivation is good to come to Germany. There is more experience than the last World Cup, so more confidence. I think the group is good for Ecuador. Germany is good, Poland is good, Costa Rica I have played many times. I feel it is a good chance for Ecuador.
Okay, but every player? One example of a player who doesn’t play in Ecuador is…oh…Ulises de la Cruz. But yeah, I get his point.
