Ulises: Ship to Sail?
It looks more and more like Ecuadorian international Ulises de la Cruz will be exiting Villa Park this summer. The right-back, who has struggled recently to find a spot in Aston Villa’s starting lineup, will probably leave the EPL when Villa’s disappointing season comes to a close.
It’s too bad David O’Leary couldn’t have found a way to transfer UDLC last summer, so that he might have had a better chance to be in top form heading in to the World Cup. At any rate, it’s clear Villa need to clean house this summer. Luckily for La Tri, UDLC, in addition to being one of its better players, also has his head screwed on straight. Meaning, I think he will handle all of this mess with his usual dignity and aplomb.
