UDLC’s Villa Days Come to An End
Aston Villa finishes the EPL season with a 2-1 win over lowly Sunderland, and Ecuadorian Ulises de la Cruz is all but out at Villa Park. It’s been a disappointing season for Aston Villa and, from our perspective, a disappointing one for UDLC as well. He played pretty well at right-back when he made it onto the pitch, but that was a rare occurrence. Sort of a lost season. I’m sure he’ll land on his feet, but I just hope that he will be in good form for the World Cup this summer.

Well look at it this way. De la Cruz will be fresh for the World Cup! I too am disappointed he didn’t play much this season. I’d like to see him try and play in either France or Spain as those countries’ style of football is more to his way of playing.
