Tenorio Goes Under the Knife

Ecuador striker Carlos Tenorio will have to undergo surgery on his injured ankle. Tenorio, who scored two goals during the group phase, had to be taken off of the pitch during Ecuador’s 0-1 loss to England in the second round.

No word yet on the severity of the injury or on Super Teno’s prognosis.
