Sweden Friendlies Set
As most of you know by now, Ecuador will host Sweden for two friendlies in the new year. The two teams will meet in Cuenca on January 18, 2007 and then in Quito on January 21, 2007.
This should be a coupld of pretty exciting contests. With two games back-to-back, both LFS and Lars Lagerback will have ample opportunity to experiment with lineups and matchups. I’m also looking forward to see how Sweden performs in Quito, the city where opponents go to die.
UPDATE: Ecuador will also play Austria on March 24, 2007.
