Suarez sprechen Sie Deutsches?
Ecuadorian national coach Luis Suarez hopes to savvy the local lingo at the World Cup this summer. Suarez is taking German language courses in anticipation of Ecuador’s participation at Germany 2006. Says the Colombian-born gaffer: “I am interested because I want to be soaked in all aspects of the World Cup.” This is refreshingly admirable, but I fear his total immersion won’t be complete without the proper attire.
