Suarez Reads List of Talking Points
April 22nd, 2006 | By: Trent | No Comments »
Ecuador Coach Luis Suarez met with foreign media correspondents and managed to not once deviate from the old tried and true coachspeak. As you readers will know, I genuinely like Suarez, and think he has done a pretty darn good job while in charge of La Tri. Nevertheless, he can say things like ‘Ecuador will advance to the second round’ and “hosts Germany are the favorites’ over and over and over with the best of them. Why do they even hold these things? Well, I know why. Because football nuts like us will read anything with the World Cup only 48 days away.
