Suarez: Luna no Distraction
April 5th, 2006 | By: Trent | No Comments »
Wow, we’re All-Suarez, All-the-Time around here these days. Ecuador Coach Luis Suarez now says that the on-going Vinicio Luna human-trafficking scandal will not be a distraction for La Tri. You may remember that former team captain and current national team administrator Vinicio Luna was arrested in March on charges of peddling fraudulent visas to a small number of Ecuadorians who were not associated with the selection. Let’s hope Coach Suarez is right, and that this continuing story does not adversely affect the team.
