Luis Fernando Suarez praises the Pan Am golden boys:

“Following the defeat in the Copa America, the Pan-America Games alleviated Ecuadorian soccer. There is pressure because we did not get the results hoped for in Venezuela. There is always pressure. But the Games victory is a real demonstration of what the national team can do.”

Indeed.

I read the article but last time I checked, Suarez was not Ecuadorean but Colombian. Also, he is right about the pressure. He needs to start winning games and stop the rhetoric.
