Suarez: Ecuador Team Will Rely on 2002 Experience
April 17th, 2006 | By: Trent | No Comments »
Ecuador Coach Luis Suarez says that his construction of this summer’s World Cup squad will rely heavily on those who gained experience during La Tri’s 2002 run. “The most important thing is the experience gained in the last two qualifiers and the 2002 World Cup. The players who did a good job will stay,” said gaffer Suarez. Makes sense to me, as long as the emphasis comes from the last year or so of matches.
