South America 2014

The World Cup will be held in South America in 2014, that much seems clear. It’s also likely that Brazil are the frontrunners to be hosts. Recently, FIFA majordomo Sepp Blatter mused, Hey, maybe Chile and Argentina could be co-hosts. The government of Chile, however, has already nipped FIFA’s leverage scheme in the bud by giving a “No, gracias” to Blatter’s bloviations. The director of Chilean Sports said that all South American countries will support Brazil’s candidacy for 2014. So, is that that?
