Sometimes in Winter
March 6th, 2006 | By: Trent | No Comments »
Can anything of use be taken from last week’s friendlies? This guy (Spanish) says no. The gist of the argument is, the weather was so bad in many of the locales, and so unlike the German summer to come, that any hoped-for European acclimation for teams like Ecuador was absent. If only Coach Luis Suarez had built a long-range weather forecasting machine, I suppose this could have been avoided. Although I understand that sometimes, in the Netherlands, in winter, it snows. Seriously.
