Smells Like Tin Spirit

Here’s a look at Ecuador striker Agustin ‘Tin’ Delgado. Delgado, like his strike partner Carlos Tenorio, has netted two goals so far in this World Cup. He crashed out in the English Premier League, but he may yet be playing England’s best.

Frankly, I thought El Tin had been having a very slow few months for his club team, Liga de Quito. Even though they were advancing through the Copa Libertadores, Tin was not finding the net. But the oft-injured striker has turned it on for La Tri, and none too soon.
