San Marco: Davids Still Not Fit
February 26th, 2006 | By: Trent | No Comments »
Dutch coach Marco van Basten has said what we knew already: Edgar Davids is still not fit to play for the Orange. Davids will sit out the March 1 friendly against Ecuador. Van Basten noted that he “watched Davids several times but he didn’t convince us and so he did not made the squad. For some players this match might be their final chance to prove they belong in the squad.” This has led some to speculate that the Spurs man’s hopes of making the World Cup squad have dimmed a bit.
