What I meant was, that’s not a goal. Honest mistake. Bygones? Colombian referee Oscar Julian Ruiz admits he blew it when he and his assistant Carlos Bettancourt erronesouly awarded River Plate its second goal in its Copa Libertadores match against Ecuadorian side El Nacional. Ruiz, who is generally considered one of the better officials in South America, was clearly embarrassed and asked supporters of El Nacional for foregiveness. Well, you gotta admire his honesty.
