Quick Note on This Blog

June 25th, 2006 | By: Trent | 7 Comments »

Although Ecuador is out now, I’ll still be posting in this space throughout the tournament. There will be plenty of fallout from the match over the next several days, and you will all get a chance to share your thoughts on the match and on the Cup run in general.

Thanks for reading and thanks for your great comments.

Trent,
Confirm this, but looks like C Tenorio is headed to the operating room.
Looks to be his ankle. At first I thought it was his calf because that was the injury he had before the cup, but it doesn’t look good. I hope it’s not serious, we are going to need this guy.

It’s nice to see you aren’t calling it quits yet, you did a magnificent job of covering Ecuador’s amazing run.

Trent, You ROCK! Thanks for all the great coverage for EC during our run for the Cup. Now your work has just started. Pls continue to perform the fine job that you have been doing for the rest of the Cup. I am sure that there will be more news coming from la Santa Tierra in the next few days with our Boys coming home to a well deserved celebration!

Trent, if you do hear rumors about possible transfers of Ecua players abroad, please keep us posted.

Again thanks for the great coverage.

Kudos to Trent. Looking at all the other world cup blogs, Trent will definitely be lifting the Blog World Cup at the end of the tournament for his quality work.

I’ve heard that a lot of teams have taken notice of Ecuadorian players. A story on bolton said Edison Mendez should be their #1 target in the transfer season and he has of course drawn interest from La Liga clubs in the past. It looks like this World Cup will be a cash windfall for my club LDU Quito.

Again, great work Trent. Ecuador wins the World Cup (of Blogs)!!!
