You point, though, in your post, is a good one:  Does anyone want to wind Group A?

If the friendlies are any indication (and we know that&#039;s a big &quot;if&quot;), then Group A should be pretty wide open.  I would be surprised if Germany became the first host *not* to advance to the 2nd round, but any team seems capable of winning the group.</description>
