February 25th, 2006 | By: Trent | No Comments »
Nicky Hofs has received his first call up to the Dutch national side for the March 1 friendly against Ecuador. The 22-yeard-old Feyenoord midfielder may not start, but his inclusion in the selection has certainly caught the attention of the Dutch media. Hofs was having a bit of a bad run until the last month. To get back in form and get called up by Coach van Basten is, says Hofs, “double nice.” It is believed that “double nice” is nearly twice as pleasant as “nice.”
