New York Times Rethinks Altitude Canard

Last time I was in New York, USA–for Ecuador’s friendly against Colombia–the ‘New York Times’ opined that Ecuador had qualified for the World Cup solely because of its high-altitude home field advantage. Today, the New York Times rethinks its earlier position. Expect more of this.

Saw Ecuador vs. Italy in the New York see level heat last year. Ecuador looked like the superior team and their right back looked as dangerous with the ball as anyone save Roberto Carlos.
