More on Ulises to Villareal

Spanish side Villareal still looks like it will make an offer to Ecuador defender Ulises de la Cruz. This would of course be a great move for UDLC.

Hard to say that being shuttled out of Aston Villa to Villareal is a step down for anyone.

Update: To answer Orlando Pasto’s question below, I agree it’s difficult to say how much playing time UDLC would get at Villareal. As a Champions League semi-finalist, it’s certainly a great squad with great players. On the other hand, it wouldn’t be any worse than his situation at Villa Park the last year or two.
