More on Emelec’s Penalty

Regional football association ASOGUAYAS has thrown its support behing Ecuadorian club side Emelec as it appeals a recent four-point penalty. The electricos were dealt the harsh punishment after placing a suspended player on their bench in a recent league match. Evidently, a list of suspended players given to Emelec by the league had omitted the player in question. If true, the penalty could be reduced or removed altogether.
