More on Emelec’s Penalty
Regional football association ASOGUAYAS has thrown its support behing Ecuadorian club side Emelec as it appeals a recent four-point penalty. The electricos were dealt the harsh punishment after placing a suspended player on their bench in a recent league match. Evidently, a list of suspended players given to Emelec by the league had omitted the player in question. If true, the penalty could be reduced or removed altogether. Someone tell Bob he can come in off the ledge for the moment.
