More on El Tin and Suarez

More on the relationship between Ecuador striker Agustin Delgado and Coach Luis Suarez. Leading up to the roster announcement, Coach Suarez would only confirm that of course El Tin would be on the list. Lately, some are speculating that the vibes between the two men are less than groovy.

Update: to read about the rumored rift in English, look here. I don’t know what’s true at this point, but if this is really over money…just play Kaviedes and C. Tenorio up front and let Delgado watch like the rest of us. Unbelievable.

That’s depressing. Considering how many years Delgado played just for his town, people and country it’s a shame how he can turn his back on them this close to the World Cup.

If it’s really over money, then let’s do like Trent said and ignore him. He’s an icredible player and I have no doubts he wants the bonus for a good cause, it’s too late to squabble. And all this talk about amazing synergy between him and Kaviedes is just not true; they played together at Barcelona and weren’t exactly bringing the house down.
