Mina Plays Well Again, But Is It Too Late?
Ecuadorian international Roberto Mina played well again for FC Dallas in its 0-0 draw against DC United in MLS play. Mina’s season for the Hoops has gone well from both the Ecuadorian and US perspectives, but the question remains: is there still time for the Raging Bull to make the World Cup roster? Is Coach Suarez will no doubt start Augustin Delgado at forward this summer. In the minds of most fans, the leader to be El Tin’s strike partner is Carlos Tenorio. I think Mina should be given a shot as one of the backup forwards, but it may depend on whether striker Ivan Kaviedes makes the roster or not. The good news for Kaviedes supporters is that lately, there has no news at all.
