Media & FEF: We’re Just Friends
March 30th, 2006 | By: Trent | No Comments »
This is interesting. The FEF held a press conference along with certain members of the Ecuadorian football media to jointly state that no favors are being passed from the FEF to the media in exchange for favorable coverage. Such a press conference, of course, makes everyone think that there is something afoot. Obviously the mere appearance of partiality can be fatal to whatever trust still exists between press and reader. Unless, of course, the FEF wants to shift some of that payola towards this blog. In which case our position will be, Hey, that’s modern synergy, baby.
