Master of the Cross

Edison Mendez was not spectacular in Ecuador’s recent friendlies held in the US. But damn if he doesn’t still make beautiful crosses for PSV Eindhoven. Check out Edison on the second goal below, as PSV beat FC Twente moved back on top of the Eredivisie.

Hey, Suarez called up our home players to work with until the friendly with Ireland. They are:

Arqueros:
Cristian Mora (Liga de Quito)
Marcelo Elizaga (Emelec)
Daniel Viteri (Deportivo Quito).

Defensas:
Paúl Ambrossi (Liga de Quito)
Jairo Campos (Liga de Quito)
Oscar Bagui (Olmedo)
José Luis Perlaza (Olmedo)
Carlos Caicedo (Olmedo)
Franklin Corozo (Deportivo Azogues)
Jimmy Brand (Deportivo Azogues)
Carlos Castro (El Nacional)
Jairo Montaño (Barcelona).

Volantes:
Luis Caicedo (Olmedo)
David Quiroz (El Nacional)
Walter Ayoví (El Nacional)
Pedro Quiñónez (El Nacional)
Cristian Lara (Liga de Quito)
Edwin Tenorio (Liga de Quito)
Patricio Urrutia (Liga de Quito).

Delanteros:
Pablo Palacios (Deportivo Quito)
Franklin Salas (Liga de Quito)
Cristian Benítez (El Nacional)
Jaime Iván Kaviedes (El Nacional).

I got a problem with people like Carlos Castro and Jose luis Perlaza coming in (they are terrible defenders) but good to see El mago and Benitez called up again.
