LDU Quito Returns to Copa Libertadores Action Today
LDU Quito recently widened its lead at the top of the Ecuadorian serie A table. Today Liga gets a chance to keep the love flowing today by beating Argentine club Velez Sarsfield in Copa Libertadores group play. The Ecuadorian club side is assured a spot in the next round, but because seeding is based on point totals, there is still something to gain from getting a result. As so many of Liga’s players are in the running for World Cup roster spots, this blog is always interested when Liga take the pitch. The lineups after the jump.
