LDU Quito Destroy Rocha FC

LDU have convincingly avenged its first-leg 2-3 loss to Rocha FC by drumming the Uruguayan side 5-0 in Copa Libertadores action Thursday. LDU Quito now sit in second place in Group 5 of the South American club competition. Goals were scored by Elkin Murillo (13′), Patricio Urritia (26′, 61′), Edison Mendez (65′), Moises Candelario (85′). Urritia and Mendez hope to make this summer’s World Cup squad for Ecuador.
