Okay, I’m back from my wedding duties. Thanks to all of you who commented below and posted some news tidbits from time to time over the last couple of days. Much appreciated.

So…now that the semifinals are set, who to root for now that Ecuador and every American team is out?

hey why not root for Potugal Deco is american right? and what are they gonna do to C. Ronaldo when he gets back to england?

Happiest day ever. I’m Sri Lankan and we whitewashed and humiliated England in the Cricket and then minutes after England got kicked out of the world cup and to top everything up the weather was great too (a rare thing here in England).

I was so happy i almost cried.

I will also support Portugal though its boring without South Americans. Its like a European Championships Finals…

I’m rooting for France because they played their best soccer in ousting Brazil. Italy also looked good, but that was against Ukraine. Portugal can suck it.

Its got to be Portugal. I hate the French (must be my American up bringing), don’t like the way the Italians are playing, and Germany kicked our butt.

Besides, Portugal is the only one without a Cup, so its about time they got one.
