Hannover Interested in Tenorio and Mendez

German club Hannover 96 is showing interest in Ecuador internationals Carlos Tenorio and Edison Mendez. For striker Tenorio–who plays for Al Sadd in Qatar–and midfielder Mendez–who plays for Liga de Quito in Ecuador–a jump to the Bundesliga would be a big one.

I for one think it would a great move for both of them. But transfer rumors, of course, are a dime a dozen during the World Cup.

Tenorio told the local TV in Ecuador that he is happy in Qatar and that he plans to play of the remaining 2 years of his contract.

He may be trying to play it cool and not piss off his current team, but I hope he goes to Europe

Look at this interesting note. Looks like there’s a three way tug-of-war going on for the rights over Segundo Castillo’s transfer.
