Group of Death

February 15th, 2007 | By: Trent | 14 Comments »

Although the good news is, La Tricolor is one of the reasons that it is the Group of Death. As you probably know by now, Ecuador has drawn Brazil, Chile and Mexico in Copa America Group B.

The tournament will be held in Venezuela this go-round, so no altitude advantage. But before the dismissals come is, Ecuador has shown that it can compete at a very high level when not…at a very high level.

Getting pretty excited for the matches!

I think Ecuador will hold its own. We have proven we can play at a very high level (World Cup)and with all the international experince our players are getting it should increase their confidence and skills. Its going to be a good tournament for Ecuador. I can feel it!

I agree. I hope that most of the guys playing outside of Ecuador will return to play in the TRI.
