Yo the match against Ireland was good but Elizaga is not the best. I think aragon or Mora have a chance for starting lineup or even Klimowicz but id leave Elizaga home.

Hope we crush the peruanos. Seven players outside of Ecuador should be good and its good to see Edwin back in the seleccion.

BBC states that West Ham are interested in Carlos Tenorio. No doubt hes moving from qatar after the Copa.

**Breaking News**

Fifa bans all international matches above 2500m (8200ft) altitude. Since Quito is on 2800m i presume we wont see La Tricolor in Quito again!

I undertand the FIFA decision banning games in high altitude. I think Cuzco is out of the question but I think QUito is ok. I believe the real issue is whether the altitude creates an unfair advantage or not? I believe it does. If we use this logic than our boys should be not paying in cold temperatures since we are accostomed to warm or moderate climate. At the end of the day, the decision is a little bit discrimminatory.

Anyone know when will we see the Ecuador team play in London?? Every other team seems to do so and since there is a large latin community I think Ecuador vs Colombia at maybe a London venue like QPR (capacity 25,000) will sell out, what do ya think?

Good point Leon pitty FIFA dont look at it that way, I happen to agree with you still makes me laugh now when less then a year ago the same people were crapping on about high altitude teams not being “able” to play in lower altitude matches??? I mean WTF FIFA! did you ever hear us complaining about having to play at lower altitudes lol not that we had much of a choice mind you :P

I hate Sep Blatter and his freaking gangsters.

This decision won’t stop our seleccion. i think that the monumental in Guayaquil would be ideal just to play in the eliminatorias. Like I said, FIFA is insane and the pres is not worth respecting.

Hey Guys have you seen this??Six english teams have made an offer for Carlos Tenorio
http://www.futbolecuador.com/

Mind you, these are not big names in the english premiership. Even Wigan is wanting Carlitos, would be a good combination if Valencia and Tenorio play together! Wigan just managed to stay in the premiership by a miracle though!

Don’t believe any of these rumours from the ecuadorian press. I have not seen any of these rumours being confirmed by the english press. Most of these rumours are just rubbish from the player’s representatives that comes to nothing! There are several cases of players being reported to have signed contract with european teams and at the end they end up staying at home! What happened to “metraya”?

Actually Bolton wants Teno and theyre going to UEFA Cup. I hope he goes there.

Manu, you right, but BBC stated that six EPL teams wanted him too. I think we can believe that.

Deixon Mendez is in Italy. I think he signed or going to sign a five-year contract with Inter. Thats good, but i dont think he’ll get much playing time next season.

La ‘metralla’ hasnt done anything in Romania except fill up the reserve benches! I think he should get more experience then go to a better team in Europe.
