Football as Emotion

May 14th, 2006 | By: Trent | No Comments »

Ecuadorian columnist Jorge Barraza knows what football means to its greatest fans. This article doesn’t focus on Ecuadorian football, but it is a great read. It’s in Spanish, but if you can translate it, I highly recommend it. As he points out, football fans can find beauty in a goalless draw if the match was otherwise rewarding. Of course, a goalless draw can also suck the marrow out of your bones. Quibbles.
