FIFA Poll: Germany, Poland to Advance
April 12th, 2006 | By: Trent | No Comments »
FIFA.com has taken a poll and the voters have taken the bold and dynamic step of picking Germany and Poland to advance out of Group A. Interestingly, the pair with the second-most votes was Germany and Ecuador.
FIFA.com added:
Nonetheless, the Ecuadorians have cause for optimism as they prepare for their second successive finals. “In 2002, Ecuador were there to learn. In Germany, we’re aiming to carry our country’s flag as far as we can,” said coach Luis Suarez. His positive outlook was shared by no less than 27 per cent of the voters, who felt the Tricolor would join the hosts in the second round.
We’ll see.
