FIFA: It’s Mora

June 4th, 2006 | By: Trent | 3 Comments »

FIFA is reporting that Suarez will in fact start Cristian Mora on goal against Poland. Mora is also my pick, and I think it looked like he was going to start all along. Even if you don’t root for Ecuador, Mora can be fun to watch, in that oh-my-goodness-what-is-he-thinking oh-wait-he-made-the-play sort of way.

After discussing the rest of the possible lineup, FIFA went on to note: “Knowing Suarez, however, there could yet be a selection surprise in store.” So as usual, take all of this with a grain of salt.” Who knows–maybe Suarez is a genius for keeping everyone guessing these last couple of weeks.

Serbia–Hi there, and thanks for posting. Ecuador’s Coach Suarez has been keeping the final roster pretty secret these days, so it’s hard to guess.

He knows Poland will be a very tough game, and surely doesn’t want to let out any more infomartion than is necessary beforehand.

That said, I’ll be posting my own preferred lineup soon on this site. I’ll also ask for reader’s lineups. Stay tuned, and enjoy the World Cup!
