Expect Names to Start

June 3rd, 2006 | By: Trent | 3 Comments »

Seems Luis Suarez will start all of the big names of Ecuadorian football come June9. There have been rumors that the lineup against Poland would contain several surprises, and it may yet. But for now Coach Suarez is hinting that some names are too big to keep on the bench.

You might want to take a look at this which comes from the Argentine sports daily OLE regarding Delgado’s status on the team.

Interesting, Harold. Who knows what’s going on with El Tin. Hopefully everything will be orined out and that he will be fit for Friday.

Although, he’s been out of form for club and country lately, so who knows.

I’m not sure, but I think El Tin was playing for Ecuador in a friendly last December with Poland. Since then he hasn’t been playing much. Probably taking a break from those five goals he scored in the qualifiers. I’m confident that Suarez will start him on June 9 against Poland.
