Even More Group A Predictions
Ecuador still isn’t a popular pick among the chattering classes. Some say they won’t qualify for the second round, while some say specifically that La Tri will finish last in Group A.
Never will all eight World Cup groups go as expected. Ecuador just have to hope that Group A is one of those unorthodox groups.

Trent,
I’ve got Ecuador pegged to slip into the Round of 16 as the second place team of Group A. I’ve got them finishing tied with Poland at 4 points, but having a greater goal difference.
Unfortunately, I think that they’ll lose to Sweden in the 1/8-finals.

I say, even though people are going to laugh, that The TICOS will advance. yes here it here first. Costa Rica will advance. I know that there are some peole out there that are going to say that the have NO team (looking at the friendlies) but the team is a very lazy team. If it really does not count they wont play hard. NOw againts Germany, i feel that they will gove them a scare. I say Costa Rica scores first, Then Germany will take the lead.
I have them beating Ecuador and Poland.
GO TICOS

I read the latest Sports Ilustrated today and they have Ecuador finishing 2nd in the group and then losing to England.
They also have Argentina finishing thrid, so i don’t know how reliable this guys are, but I hope they are right on a second place finish for us.

Don’t any of you remember when South Korea beat Italy in the second round last World Cup?
I can see Ecuador beating England. Oh yes… they can do it.

If Ecuador plays like they did during their home games, then I can see them advancing into the second round and even sending the Brits or Swedes home.
Viva la Tricolor!!
