El Tin Loses Appeal

Ecuador and LDU Quito striker Agustin Delgado has lost the appeal of his one-year ban from football stemming from last season’s LDU - Barcelona brawl.

Obviously, the El Tin incident doesn’t mean as much to international football as the Zidane headbutt, but it’s odd to see both national heroes exit with such ignominy in the same year.
