El Nine to … Cyprus

August 17th, 2007 | By: Trent | 12 Comments »

In fairness, it’s probably the only country where he hasn’t played yet.

Still, it’s a bit of a surprise that Ecuador striker Ivan Kaviedes is off to Cyprus to play for club AEK Larnaca.

El Nine still has a lot left in the tank, as he has shown this season with El Nacional.

Good luck to my main man.

I think he was and is a great player but he lacks dicipline and maturity. He was red carded yesterday when Nacional played Carabobo. He came in on the second half and was playing good. He reacted stupidly to a head bump from the opposing player. Ivan head bumped him back and the player fell to the ground like any great actor should.

Stupid Ivan was thrown out!

Imbabura beat Liga. They are playing very well. Enjoy la Fritada y mucho ceviche. I am jealous because I prefer to be in Ecuador.

I am in NJ and going to see the Red Bulls vs La Galaxy and David Beckham. They expect the statdium to be sold out. So far 60K tickets sold wow!

Orlando, enjor Ecuador and have a pilsener for all of us.

Hi guys

I’ve een keeping good tabs on the ecua boys in the premiership espicially Valencia who is expected to do better by Wigan fans, but the boys done good as they both registered assists over the weekend in what easily is the most demanding league on the planet :)

Guys,
the following is the line up for today August 22
Esta sería la alineación de Ecuador: Máximo Banguera; Jairo Montaño, Iván Hurtado, Giovanni Espinoza y José Aguirre; Patricio Urrutia, Alex Bolaños, Édison Méndez y Cristian Lara; Edmundo Zura y Cristian Benítez.
(LAOH

Suarez is definitely using the young talent that came out of the pan american games (Zura, Banguera)

I look forward to the game tonight and Ecuador at a minimum should tie.

Leon, Jimmy Brand from Dep. Azogues has taken Bolaños position. I don’t think I have a channel to watch the game, though. So ima listen to it via Radio Sucre or CRE Satelital.
