El Nine Duly Noted

Even the English-language press has taken note of Ivan Kaviedes’ inclusion in Ecuador’s World Cup roster. You can read all about it here, here and here. This attention may stem from El Nine’s checkered reputation, but it’s nice to see Ecuador receive some non-visa-scandal, non-shaman attention. Even if the shaman in question is a badass.

This guy is like a “nasty pimple” everyone notices him, but I give him credit for all the talent that he has, unfortunetly he throws it away with his poor professional skills. Everyone agrees about this including one of the most respected journalist in south america, Jorge Barraza.
