Ecuador v. Peru Update

September 6th, 2006 | By: Trent | 1 Comment »

Ecuador will face Peru in a friendly encounter in Giants Stadium, USA. Ecua boss Luis Suarez will have three debutantes on his roster: Jorge Ladines (Emelec), Jose Aguirre (Emelec), and Jairo Montalo (Barcelona) will hope to see the pitch this week.

World Cup hero Carlos Tenorio, however, will not be in attendance. No reason has yet been given, but his club Al Sadd has said as much.

No worries. This match, despite the intense rivalry, should be used by LFS as a testing ground for some new and/or underused faces.

Trent,

I’ll be at the game taking lots of videos, shots (of the game, the ladies, and prob bacardi) and of course screaming my lungs out for the boys in yellow.

Teams in the MidEast hardly ever release players, that’s why we’ll be without Larita and Carlitos. no matter, it gives Coach Suarez a chance to field Caceido and test Salas.

Like Mills Lane would say, let’s get it on!
