Ecuador Gets Win Against Honduras
Fans of Ecuador are feeling a bit better about their team after defeated Honduras 1-0 last night in a friendly played in Guayaquil.
Darwin Caicedo came off the bench to score the lone goal in the 67th minute to give Ecuador a much needed win. Ecuador entered the match riding a losing streak that included losses in friendlies against Senegal, Uganda and Poland. The team had also lost 4-1 to Barcelona last weekend.
In the win over Honduras, coach Luis Suarez was able to continue to get some of his younger players minutes, while he continues to look for the right combination for Ecuador’s run in Germany this summer.

Coach Suarez is trying out dozens of players who will give the National Team a safety net. We have a pretty solid defense and midfield… But we are lacking Strikers. Ecuadors coach is looking for the best candidates to take to germany and acompany our best striker Agustin “El Tin” Delgado.
