Ecuador Awards

Several awards have been handed out for several Ecua footballers, and Ecua-related footballers. They are as follows:

Ecuador World Cup Blog favorite Edison Mendez deservedly won the Best Ecuadorian Overseas award. Congrats to the PSV Eindhoven midfielder.

Argentine forward Marcos Mondaini, who plays for Emelec, won the Golden Spencer award as the best footballer in Ecuador’s top league.

Midfielder of the Year: El Nacional’s David Quiroz.

Defender of the Year: Barcelona’s Jairo Montano.

Coach of the Year: Emelec’s Carlos Torres Garces.
